Keeping with the brush lettering theme this week I’m sharing some work done with the Clean Color Real Brush markers. These markers are one of my favorites for sure. They feature actual bristles on the tip, meaning they look and feel like a real paint brush. The difference between a paint brush and the marker is that the watercolor dye paint is in the marker already! So there’s no need to dip the pen in paint or water (you could though if you want to create even more unique marks!).
Here’s how it works, you make your mark with the Clean Color Real Brush marker on watercolor paper and then take a wet paint brush or a ZIG BrusH20 (which you should also check out if you do watercolor art.) and paint over your mark. You’ll see the dye ink react to the water to create the same look as using watercolor paint. An added bonus is how these markers make it clean and easy to do watercolor art anywhere without hassle!
